Welcome to Happy Valley Pride’s 10th birthday bash - 18th - 26th July.

Guess what? That willful toddler is turning 10. And like any other kid entering double numbers, this party monster is a gleeful ball of energy that needs a LOT of attention. So get ready for a rambunctious, rural, rally in the valley.

This year is a joyful, thrilling, defiant celebration of our community and we’ve invited some of the best queer artists in the world to join the party. Who, who, who? Comedy superstar Myra Dubois, makes her Calderdale debut; Grace Petrie is live in concert; cabaret superstars Bourgeois and Maurice return to premiere new songs; Mr Teds brings his quizzing chaos to our opening night; and we’re taking over Todmorden Town Hall for our first ever Catwalk Extravaganza from Manchester’s Ghetto Fabulous.

Then on Saturday 25th July, we’ve got something really special for you before we launch into our birthday Big Day Out. After years of requests, we’re kicking things off with the first ever Happy Valley Pride parade. Placards of positivity and puppets of power will march through Hebden Bridge into Calder Holmes Park ready for a day of community, unity and family fun. Here you will find Strictly Come Dancing’s La Voix, Tom Rasmussen, Horse McDonald, Donna Marie as Lady Gaga and much, much more!

London Olivier-Award winners Duckie let us run wild ‘til the early hours of the morning with a club night you’ll never forget, and we end the week with Cal De Cabaret and the Patron Saint of Happy Valley Pride, David Hoyle, putting on an afternoon of sass and silliness at the Golden Lion.

We’re 10, come join the party – it’s a celebration!

Be here, be you, be proud
