Last year, in a collaboration with Happy Valley Pride's Youth Programme and mental health initiative Mind Your Head, our partnership with the Brunswick Centre, we worked with the amazing young people at yOUTh in halifax to create a new song celebrating the power of peer support.

Children were supported by poet and performer Clare Shaw and musician and Manager of our youth programme Terry Logan to create poetry based on being stronger by leaning on your friends and supporting each other when times are tough.

Children contributed musically and created a percussion wall of sound with twenty four Boom Whackers!

We are absolutely thrilled to showcase this incredible song with a beautiful animation by local artist Hannah "Hunter" Hull. Come down to the Youth Pride Takeover this Saturday at the Big Day Out and sing along to this beautiful message of hope. With massive thanks to Community Foundation For Calderdale for funding this unique project.
